Agostino's keynote, Professionalism in Aviation, focuses on the key component of safety, the individual. Professionalism and safety are not mutually exclusive; therefore we have to understand the various levels of professionalism.  At the same time, this presentation makes an effort to dismiss myths about how we perform as humans

About Robert Agostino

A recipient of the Dr. Tony Kern Professionalism in Aviation Award as well as several other NBAA safety awards, Mr. Agostino was selected for the 2003 Laureate Award the 2007 Aviation Week and Space Technology Laureate Award.  The first recipient of the Business & Commercial Aviation Vision Award, he has also received commendations from the FAA, US Navy, and the FBI for his pioneering work in aviation safety. 

A nine-time world record holder, Agostino’s career totals more than 40 years of corporate flight operations.  He was also the creator of the first Bombardier Safety Stand-down.
