The U2 concert ticket bidding ends tonight at midnight. This is your last big chance to bid for two tickets to this completely sold out concert on the 20th of October at the MCI Center!  Loudoun Aviation has generously donated two tickets in their Skybox suite.  The Tickets are being auctioned off to the highest bidder and bidding closes at midnight on October 3, 2005.  Proceeds will go to benefit the Aero Club Foundation of Washington, which sponsors educational initiatives for students seeking careers in aviation in the greater Washington, DC area.  Bidding is accomplished by sending an email to bid@gwbaa.com and must be made in $25. increments.  For more information on the concert, visit http://www.u2.com/tour/.
 
WASHINGTON, DC ADIZ SEMINAR/POTOMAC TRACON TOUR
During the FAA's "Operation Raincheck", scheduled for Saturday, October 15th, the business aviation community will have the opportunity to tour the Potomac Consolidated TRACON in Warrenton, Virginia.  An informational seminar about the Washington D.C. Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) also will be presented.  A Q&A session with management and controllers on any air traffic topics concludes the two-hour program.  Two identical sessions have been set up for 10 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 15.  Each attendee needs to provide his or her name, the names of any guests, each person's country of citizenship, and the session preference to FAA's Randy Horner at: randolph.horner@faa.gov.  Supply separate e-mail addresses for guests if available.
