Sponsorships Update:
Thanks (in advance) to Gulfstream for sponsoring the lunch, Bombardier for the beverage cart, Welsch Aviation for the breakfast, FlightWorks for the hole-in-one, Corporate Jet Sales for closest to the pin, and NBAA for closest to the Zig-Zag (whatever that means). Additionally ARINC, Wiley Rein & Fielding LLP and NBAA have each sponsored a hole! We still have sponsorship opportunities available so if you are interested please call Kristen Rensch at 703-417-3543.
Since we announced the ability to donate to the Red Cross Katrina Relief Effort we have received monetary donations from Airborne Inc., First Flight Management of Elmira NY and Potomac Aviation of Burlington, VT. Thank you for your contributions!
The U2 concert ticket bidding continues. We reported last week that the bidding was up to $1000.00 for two tickets to this completely sold out concert on the 20th of October at the MCI Center! Loudoun Aviation has generously donated two tickets in their Skybox suite. The Tickets are being auctioned off to the highest bidder and bidding closes at midnight on October 3, 2005. Proceeds will go to benefit the Aero Club Foundation of Washington, which sponsors educational initiatives for students seeking careers in aviation in the greater Washington, DC area. Bidding is accomplished by sending an email to bid@gwbaa.com and must be made in $25. increments. For more information on the concert, visit http://www.u2.com/tour/.
